Dennis Kihlberg, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT

Dennis was born and raised in New Jersey where he grew up playing multiple sports. The physical therapy profession was first introduced to Dennis after he suffered a Grade III Ankle sprain while playing football. Having a positive experience while rehabbing lit the fire for Dennis to pursue his Doctorate in Physical therapy.

Dr. Dennis received his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Rutgers University in 2012. He went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2017 in Austin, Texas. Dennis’s passion for learning and challenging himself led him to enroll in the Institute for Athlete Regeneration Sports & Orthopedic Manual Therapy Fellowship Program. He obtained his Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists in 2020. In 2021, Dennis became a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedics. Dennis is a part of an elite group of Physcial Therapists who are both Board Certified and Fellowship trained, accounting for about 2% of physical therapists worldwide.

Dennis now serves as a lead faculty member for the Institute for Athlete Regeneration Sports & Orthopedic Manual Therapy Fellowship Program where he gets to exercise his passion in teaching and mentoring others.
